Lumo is the big interactive light logo of the Eindhoven University of Technology. Its animations of coloured light represent special days or properties of the population of Eindhoven. Lumo therefore watches over the city.

Lumo is a gift from the local government for the university’s 50th Birthday. I worked with two other students closely together with people from the university, local government, Philips and a signposting company on the project. We (students) were mainly responsible for the concept itself, the video for the presentation of the concept during the opening of the academic year, animations for the logo and the translation of these animations to the DMX software for the logo.
